CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT AND DELIVERY OF GOODS

  • By placing an order, you declare that you are acting exclusively for private purposes.
  • When ordering merchandise articles, your contractual partner is Hakuna Mipaka Ltd., Blegistrasse 11B, 6340 Baar, Switzerland. If you making a donation, your contractual partner is the Dean Schneider Foundation, Landstrasse 14, Balzers, Lichtenstein.
  • By clicking the buying button, you place a binding order for the items or the donation in your shopping basket. We will confirm receipt of your order by email immediately after you have sent your order. A binding contract is concluded upon your receipt of the order confirmation.
  • Please note that, as an exception, we are not obliged to deliver the ordered goods to you if we have duly ordered the goods, but have not been supplied correctly or on time, provided that we are not responsible for the unavailability of the goods and that we have informed you of this circumstance without delay. If the goods are subsequently unavailable, we will reimburse you immediately for any payments already made.
  • We do not assume the risk of having to procure ordered goods (procurement risk). This also applies to the ordering of goods which are only described according to their type and characteristics. We are only obliged to deliver from our stock and the goods ordered by us from our suppliers. For orders of Hakuna Mipaka partner articles, our stock of goods includes the Hakuna Mipaka partner’s stock of goods. If working days are specified as delivery periods, we understand this to mean all days from Monday to and including Friday, with the exception of public holidays.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if the order was generated by software, a machine, a crawler, a spider or other automated web programs or scipted behaviour systems or by using third party services used to place the order on your behalf.

PRICES AND SHIPPING COSTS

  • The prices listed in the offer at the time of the order apply. The prices quoted are final prices, i.e. they include the applicable statutory VAT.
  • The shipping costs are visible before confirming the final order. Shipping costs are based on the size of the order, including inter alia shipping, handling and other services. The costs are incurred by Hakuna Mipaka Ltd. and are charged by Hakuna Mipaka Ltd.
  • Depending on your country, import/customs fees may be applied to your order. All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer and refused packages won’t be refunded. Please note that we are not held liable for any custom fees in your country, hold times or incorrect shipping information provided. Hakuna Mipaka is not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, or air and ground transportation strikes or delays, nor any extra fees, customs or back end charges. 

PAYMENT

  • In principle, we offer the payment methods prepayment via bank account and credit card.
  • In the case of purchase by credit card, your credit card account will be charged at the order.
  • You agree to receive invoices, credit notes and reminders in electronic or paper form.

PROMOTIONAL AND GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Promotional vouchers are vouchers that cannot be purchased, but which we issue as part of advertising campaigns with a specific period of validity.
  • Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed during the specified period and only once as part of an order process. Promotional vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers.
  • The value of the goods must be at least equal to the amount of the promotional voucher. Any difference to a higher value of goods can be settled using the payment options offered. The value of a promotional voucher is neither paid out in cash nor does it bear interest. The promotional voucher will not be refunded if goods are returned in whole or in part.
  • Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed before completing the order process. Subsequent crediting is not possible. The promotional voucher cannot be transferred to a third party. Multiple promotional vouchers cannot be combined with each other unless we have agreed otherwise.
  • Gift vouchers can only be redeemed before completing the order process. The balance of a gift voucher is neither paid out in cash nor does it bear interest.
  • The redemption of gift vouchers is limited to 1 (one) year from the date of purchase of the gift voucher.

RETURN POLICY

  • For all purchases of Hakuna Mipaka merchandise products via www.deanschneider.com, Hakuna Mipaka grants a voluntary right of return for 14 days from receipt of the goods. After this period, you can withdraw from the contract by returning the goods to us within 14 days of receipt of the goods (the 14 days period starts to run on the day after receipt of the goods). Timely dispatch is sufficient to meet the deadline. The product can only be returned when not used and in their original packaging together with any instructions and – if applicable – with an undamaged seal. If these requirements are not met, the return of goods may be refused. Returns must be stamped, these costs are to be paid by the buyer. Please enclose the corrected return slip and keep the proof of postage.
  • Donations to the Dean Schneider Foundation are voluntary and can be revoked in writing within 5 days of receipt. In this case, you will receive a corrected invoice or a refund of the amount on your credit card statement.
  • The true colors (color nuances) of our products are particularly difficult to display electronically and are therefore additionally labeled. Color deviations in the products are due to technical reasons (e.g. computer screen settings). We accept no liability for the color nuances shown on the website.
  • Any refunds by invoice and prepayment will be made to the payment method initially used. If you have paid by credit card, the refund will be made to the associated credit card account.

LOST PACKAGE

We are not liable for any misplaced or stolen packages. If your tracking number reads as successfully shipped and the address provided to us upon checkout matches the exact address we have shipped your order to, we are not held responsible if your package has been misplaced. Stolen / lost packages are nonrefundable. If you have any questions, please contact us and we will try our best to assist you with this matter.
